What is book packaging?
Book packaging has been around for a long time—from the days of Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys if you can believe it!
Basically, a creative team develops an idea for a book and then brings on a writer to flesh out that concept into a proposal or full manuscript.
From there, the team shops the project to publishers, like a literary agent does, and tries to secure a deal.
How are projects at Twenty Story Studios generated?
Once our concepts are fully researched and market-tested, they are written up as one-page descriptions that are sent to prospective authors as pitches.
After a writer is brought on board as a collaborator, we meet with them every two to three weeks to build the full story from the ground up, step-by-step.
We do not use AI to conceive premises, write proposals, construct outlines, or develop any other foundational materials for our books.
